  • Aldermere Achievers 4-H Club return with awards from National Expo

    Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s 4-H Club, the Aldermere Achievers, have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. On Nov. 18, the club members returned from a whirlwind trip with their Belted Galloway cattle to the North American International Livestock Exposition in Kentucky, the largest all-breed, purebred livestock event in the world.

In My Words: Paige Pendleton, a 4-H Parent, on Lessons Learned at Aldermere

When my older daughter Ellie was in 7th grade, she discovered Aldermere Farm through the STAR afterschool enrichment program Farm Hands. She loved everything about Aldermere: the cattle, the quiet magic of the property, and especially Heidi Baker, who runs the Farm Hands program and the Aldermere Achievers 4-H club.
