Community Scarecrow Competition to Benefit Food Pantry

Join us in fall cleanup at Aldermere Farm while helping build a flash mob of scarecrows along Russell Avenue! Staff will vote on the most creative scarecrow. The winner will select a food pantry of his/her choice to receive 50 lbs of Aldermere beef. We'll collect the leaves we need to stuff our scarecrows at the farm. Bring gloves, a rake, old clothes to outfit your scarecrow and your imagination. Participants may arrive anytime between 12:30-4:30. Scarecrows must be completed by 4:30.

This event coincides with Early Release Day at MSAD 28 schools and is open to all ages. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration is not required, but RSVPs are appreciated. Email Joelle at jalbury@mcht.org.
