Aldermere is primarily a cattle business with a herd of up to 100 Belted Galloways, the distinctive black and white "Belties" which have made Aldermere famous. The farm has been breeding and selling champion stock for almost 50 years, and today Aldermere is known as one of the premier Belted Galloway breeders in the world. As an actively managed farm, Aldermere offers a number of products for sale, including: cattle, semen, beef, hay, compost, and Aldermere merchandise.
