Knox County Food Council Public Meeting

Jan 10, 2023, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The Knox County Food Council (KCFC) is hosting a community conversation at the next KCFC monthly meeting, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 5 pm. This virtual Zoom event is open to everyone and free of charge.

The KCFC’s 2023 planning, a result of several meetings over the fall of 2022, have identified a group consensus around the importance of centering the voice of the recipient in food security efforts.

This meeting will be an open discussion about lived experience and how it can inform the work of service providers and policy makers. KCFC invites organizations and individuals to engage in a group discussion about how they can best work together to highlight the voice of the recipient in their work, separately and collectively.

KCFC is also seeking guest presenters to share their methods and experience gathering client feedback and how members of the food council might assist their efforts.
