Sap-to-Syrup for 4-H and Teen Ag

Thursday, March 24th, 3:30-4:30 PM

 

Where: Aldermere Farm office, 70 Russell Ave, Rockport

 

4-H Clubs and Erickson Fields Teen Ag Crew are invited to join MCHT’s farm staff in making syrup from scratch (sap) at Aldermere Farm (70 Russell Ave, Rockport). We’ll teach you how to identify sugar maples and tap trees. The finished product will be donated to local food pantries.

 

Space is limited. Participants must dress for being outside for an extended period in the cold and are required to wear face masks. Please note, we do not have public restrooms.
