Visitor Center open through September
Aldermere Farm’s Visitor Center will be open from Monday, July 2, through September to welcome the many people who come to see the farm and our famous herd of Belted Galloway cattle.
Volunteers will educate visitors on the farm’s history, landscape, hiking trails and upcoming events.
The Visitor Center is stocked with retail items featuring belties and the farm. Items include cards, shirts, hats, mugs, laser prints and Iris Giclee prints of artwork done by local artists. All natural, locally raised Beltie beef is also available for purchase.
The Visitor Center is located on Russell Avenue in Rockport just past our main barn and farmhouse.
Hours of Operation: July-September, 1:00-4:00 M, 10:00-1:00 T-Sat.
Visitors may join a free Farm Tour every Friday, July through August. Attendees must arrive by 10:00 AM. Tours start at the farmhouse, 20 Russell Ave, Rockport. The barnyard is closed to the general public, so this is a fantastic opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes tour of the farm!
