Fairy Walk at Erickson Fields Trail

ROCKPORT – Everyone knows fairies love spring flowers and summer sun, but is it the fairies who wake up the earth as the snow melts? Do they entice the trees to turn green and the flowers to grow? 

 

Maine Coast Heritage Trust invites the public to take a stroll through the woods to find out. During the month of May, pages of Do Fairies Bring the Spring? written by local author Liza Gardner Walsh and illustrated by Hazel Mitchell, will be posted along the 1.4-mile loop trail at Erickson Fields, 164 West Street in Rockport. Visitors are encouraged to follow the CDC’s guidelines for social distancing while exploring the preserve.
