Hiring 2026 summer Teen Ag Crew

Maine Coast Heritage Trust, a state-wide land conservation organization, is offering teens ages 14-18 an hourly-paid position in the Teen Ag Crew at Erickson Fields Preserve (164 West St., Rockport). Teen Ag Crewmembers will gain hands-on experience in sustainable agricultural practices, learn about their local food system, and raise produce for food assistance programs. The position will be part-time and offered during the summer (6/22-8/21), 8am to 12:15pm Monday through Friday. The starting hourly wage will be $15.10.
MCHT’s Teen Ag Crew has been an open door for many teens entering the workforce. No previous farming experience is required, just a desire to be outdoors, work hard in a team and learn new skills. The work is both challenging and rewarding and contributes to the Midcoast community by partnering with Good Shepherd Food Bank and area food pantries. Since the Teen Ag Crew formed in 2010, it has distributed an annual average of 17,000+ pounds of fresh produce.
