Submission deadline for Youth Pride Art Show and Pride Walk

OUT Maine has partnered with Erickson Fields in Rockport, Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) in Rockland, and Rock City Café in Rockland to bring LGBTQIA2S+ and allied youth art and writing to Midcoast Maine during Pride Month (June). Erickson Fields Trail will feature the Pride Walk, a collection of photography, paintings and poetry created by LGBTQA2S+ and allied Maine youth.

This year’s theme is Queer in Maine. Artists are asked to consider how place and identity push and pull one another in their pieces.

Art will be on display at Rock City Cafe, while poetry and short prose will be displayed at the Pride Walk at Erickson Fields Preserve.

If you are under 18, your parent/guardian will need to sign your media release. No one is too young to participate! The upper age cut-off is 22.
