Hay for Sale

Aldermere Farm makes hay on several hundred acres for sale to other livestock owners and landscapers.

The owners of these fields want their land to be used productively and graciously allow Aldermere staff to manage them. The farm staff tests the soils, maintains fertility and produces high quality hay.

Aldermere sells both first and second cut hay, in round bales. Hay is available year-round depending on inventory. Delivery and self-pickup options are available.

Note: The average round bale is equivalent to 18 square bales. Wrapped bales are 4’x4′ and weigh 1,000+ lbs.

Pick up & Delivery Options

Orders should be placed a week in advance and must be picked up within two (2) weeks after we notify you the order is ready. Please note that delivery is weather dependent.

Delivery is available for orders of 8 or more bales within 20 driving miles of Aldermere Farm. Each trip costs $75. You will be responsible for moving the bales off the trailer and putting them into storage. You will need a tractor with an operator and implement that can move a 1,000-lb. hay bale without puncturing or tearing the plastic wrap. Pushing bales off the trailer is not an option as it will severely damage the integrity of the bales. A bale grabber is highly recommended.

2025 Hay

We have a limited supply. Hay is sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will be in touch over email if we can fill your order.

2026 Hay

We typically make first cut hay in June. We anticipate first cut wrapped rounds to be ready for pickup or delivery by September. First cut dry rounds will also be ready for pickup or delivery by September. Arrangement for earlier pickups may be possible. ORDERS FOR 2026 HAY ARE NOT AVAILABLE YET.
